We need help with:
WHY IS THE PROJECT IMPORTANT
In order to fix the large problem that is systemic racism, it’s important to first understand the problem. This speaker series invites experts in various fields to
1. explain the system,
2. highlight the racism inherent in the system,
3. offer resources where we can further educate ourselves
4. offer opportunities where we can get involved to help fix the situation
OVERALL PROJECT GOAL
Organize and host at least 4 speaker events, covering topics in the areas of Education, Healthcare, the Judicial System, and Employment.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS TO- DATE
January event featured Dr. Carmine Stewart of Seeds of Literacy speaking about the Education system.
